After a 4-year teaching stint in Lakefield, MN, I taught English in the Jackson County Central schools through 2006. In retirement I keep very busy golfing, fishing, and directing community theater. My most vivid memories of MSU are of the wonderful faculty and unique roommates. Curtis Dornberg was my advisor; he had such patience with me. Tecla Karpen changed my life in the Speech Dept. I will be forever grateful to her.
I lived in the T&C dorm one year and in the “C” apartments for a year. Great times. I loved my time at MSU.
My wife Jo and I have two sons. We are happily retired.
